Employees’ State Insurance Corporation is a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament (ESI Act, 1948) and works under the administrative control of Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. Employees’ State Insurance Corporation proposes to fill up the Teaching Faculty posts – Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor for ESIC PGIMSR and Medical Colleges at the locations mentioned below, on Contractual basis. Age Limit:- Not exceeding 67 years as on last date for receipt of online application for all posts and categories.
Qualification:- A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Act. A Post Graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS (Doctor of Medicine and Master of Surgery) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/ allied discipline.
Essential for non-medical candidates:- A Postgraduate qualification i.e. Master’s Degree in the concerned subject/allied discipline. A Doctorate degree from a recognized University in the respective subject/allied discipline.
NOTE: The respective subject/allied discipline should be as in the Table-I of Schedule I of the MCI-“Minimum Qualifications for Teachers in Medical Institutions Regulations, 1998.”
Selection Procedure:- Selection will be made on the basis of interview which will be conducted by the ESIC Selection Board. The list of candidates called for interview and venue of interview shall be uploaded on ESIC website.
Application Fee:- No application fee is required for SC/ST/PWD/ Departmental Candidates/ Female Candidates & Ex Servicemen and 225/- for all other category candidates.
